At BetterBuildings for Michigan, we work with qualified professionals to perform your check-up and install any home upgrades you choose. We assign an Energy Advisor to oversee any and all work done through the BetterBuildings for Michigan program.

Our energy advisors have been selected through a competitive process, and met our rigorous standards as well as state and federal requirements. All Energy Advisors are also subject to third party quality assurance checks. We are confident they can meet the high expectations you have for your home!

You can request one of these companies for your home when you sign up. If you don’t have a preference, we will assign you an Energy Advisor.

The deadline to apply for BetterBuildings for Michigan's federal incentives was March 31. We will make sure that everyone in Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw or Wayne Counties that wants a reduced cost energy audit for $100 and access to incentives and energy financing options will get an appointment. Thank you for your patience as we respond to the flood of interest we received.
